Planning, implementing, developing, and directing the organization’s operational and monetary performance and its progress towards the company’s mission.
Acting as a strategic partner by developing and implementing the plans and programs of their department of the business.
Effectively communicate with the organization and with the Board of Directors.
Liaise and advise the rest of the C-Suite about the execution of plans.
Continuously instruct the department by improving the planning and the budgeting process.
Encourage, interact with, and mentor the employees within their department and the entire company.
Positively represent their organization.

To drive business strategies more effectively and advocate for increased automation, C-Suite executives need to be able to understand and use artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning, and cybersecurity tools. They also need to be able to employ soft skills like strategic management, adaptability, customer relations, and design thinking.
