Our Story

  • 2014

    Founded with the mission to make job searching and talent matching simple for the cybersecurity community. Our vision has always been to create a cyber workforce platform that empowers cybersecurity leaders to successfully hire, develop, retain, and manage both their talent and organizational capabilities. 

    2015

    Established long-term strategic diversity partnership with Secure Diversity, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing awareness and the representation of women and non-binary individuals in the cybersecurity workforce. 

    2016

    CyberSN Taxonomy created. Establishing a common language to clearly define projects and tasks across 35 cybersecurity functional roles, enabling clearer communication between professionals and hiring organizations.

  • 2017

    Expands with a new Cyber Contractor Program, allowing organizations to quickly access specialized talent for project acceleration and long-term initiatives.  CyberSN introduces a professional development initiative, offering training and mentorship to help contractors enhance their skills and advance their careers in flexible, project-based roles.

    2018

    CyberSN develops a back-office platform. The platform revolutionizes CyberSN operations and job descriptions by leveraging the taxonomy's common language and providing a clear percentage breakdown of associated tasks for each cybersecurity role.

    2019

    CyberSN’s Taxonomy expanded to 45 functional roles and 10 categories, aligned and extended upon the NICE Framework. CyberSN’s Platform launched at the Black Hat conference, empowering professionals to build profiles and employers to build, export and post jobs.

  • 2020

    Cybersecurity Talent Matching Solution  launched to empower internal recruiters to fill leadership and individual contributor roles in 45 days or less with retention rates 3.5x higher when compared to industry retention rates.  

    2021

    Launches CyberSN Platform Career Center that showcases career mapping capabilities and salary data, empowering cybersecurity professionals to take ownership of their careers and enables organizations to build their teams for lasting success.

    2022

    CyberSN Platform expands by including categorizing publicly listed U.S. cybersecurity jobs. Categorized by CyberSN’s Taxonomy and functional roles, enabling cyber professionals to search jobs based on their craft and not a title.

  • 2023

    Cyber Workforce Risk Management Solution (CWRM) launched to retain, develop, and optimize cyber teams. 

    2024

    CyberSN Platform expands to support CWRM, enabling businesses to manage cyber workforce risks, reduce burnout, and secure the right talent for critical assets. Leveraging the CyberSN Taxonomy for accurate job descriptions and workforce alignment, this data-driven approach drives immediate and strategic improvements, resulting in a more resilient, capable cybersecurity team aligned with organizational goals.

Meet Our Founder & CEO 

Deidre Diamond is the Founder and CEO of CyberSN, specializing in cybersecurity workforce risk management and strategic planning.
Deidre Diamond launched her career straight out of college, guided by two pioneering entrepreneurs who employed her and provided growth opportunities for twenty-one years across three organizations, Motion Recruitment, Rapid7 (RPD), and Percussion Software. Deidre holds two college degrees in Sociology and Criminal Justice and her transition to cybersecurity was driven by a passion for the community and a vision to fix the broken job searching system. In 2014, she founded CyberSN, focusing on enhancing job matching with the CyberSN Taxonomy, leading the charge in cyber workforce risk management solutions.

Under Deidre's leadership, CyberSN emerged as a premier talent intelligence firm in the U.S. Her commitment to diversity inspired the founding of Secure Diversity in 2015 and the co-founding of the Day of Shecurity Conference in 2017, which draws over a thousand women and underrepresented genders bi-annually for free knowledge-sharing. She is recognized as a Top 25 Women in Cybersecurity and is a sought-after speaker for some of the largest cybersecurity conferences in the world. Deidre's contributions extend beyond CyberSN, advocating for gender diversity and fostering a culture that emphasizes retention and development across the cybersecurity landscape.

Dom Glavach, Chief Security and Technology Officer of CyberSN

Meet Our Chief Security & Technology Officer

Dom Glavach, Chief Security and Technology Officer, leads all cybersecurity strategy, policy, IT operations, security engineering, security operations, data privacy, and cyber threat detection.

Dom is on the forefront of CyberSN’s Platform and Taxonomy research and development, serves as a trusted cyber advisor, subject matter expert to strategic clients, cybersecurity and strategic diligence advisor for Private Equity clients in support of mergers and acquisitions. Dom Prior to CyberSN, Mr. Glavach spent 20+ years working at Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) serving as the Chief Information Security Officer and Research Fellow. 

He played a critical role in the company’s cyber risk management, providing cyber technical leadership and subject matter expertise to commercial and government clients. Mr. Glavach served as a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Cyber Committee, chairing a subcommittee on Vehicle and Embedded Systems Cyber Security. He has also presented on cloud forensics, cyber adversaries and advanced persistent threats to a wide range of public and government audiences including the National Institute of Stands and Technology (NIST) and the National Security Agency (NSA).
