We help organizations understand, build, and strengthen their cybersecurity and IT workforce.
Since 2014, we have helped organizations understand their workforce, identify capability gaps, reduce operational risk, and build stronger cybersecurity and IT organizations through Workforce Intelligence and specialized Talent Solutions.
Understand
Clear visibility into the capabilities of your entire workforce ecosystem.
Build
Acquire the cybersecurity and IT talent needed to execute your strategy.
Strengthen
Close capability gaps and prepare your organization for constant change.
Every business strategy depends on execution. Every execution strategy depends on the capabilities of the workforce responsible for delivering it.
Yet most organizations still rely on job titles, organizational charts, and outdated documentation to understand how work gets done. As employees, contractors, consultants, managed service providers, interns, and AI agents continually change, so do an organization's capabilities, operational risks, and ability to execute.
CyberSN was founded to solve this problem.
A common language for cybersecurity and IT work
Organizations couldn't consistently hire, develop, or retain the right talent because there was no standardized way to define the work. So we built one, and it became the foundation of everything we do.
CyberSN Founded
Our mission was straightforward: improve cybersecurity hiring. It quickly became clear organizations couldn't consistently hire, develop, or retain the right talent, because there was no standardized way to define cybersecurity work.
The Cybersecurity Job Taxonomy
We established a common language for cybersecurity work, resolving the inconsistent job titles, overlapping responsibilities, and uneven information that made hiring decisions unreliable.
Cybersecurity Workforce Matching Solution
We launched our Cybersecurity Workforce Matching Solution, empowering internal teams to fill leadership and individual contributor roles in 45 days or less.
The IT Job Taxonomy
As organizations increasingly integrated cybersecurity and IT operations, we extended the foundation with a consistent framework for understanding technology work across the enterprise.
Today, these taxonomies power our Workforce Intelligence services, guide our Talent Solutions, and help organizations make more informed decisions about capability, hiring, workforce planning, organizational maturity, and business execution.
Understand Your Workforce
Organizations cannot strengthen what they cannot clearly see.
Our Workforce Intelligence services give leaders clear visibility into the capabilities of their workforce ecosystem. Using our Cybersecurity and IT Job Taxonomies, you gain an accurate understanding of who is responsible for which functions, where capabilities exist, where gaps are emerging, and how workforce changes affect execution.
The entire workforce ecosystem
Organizations use Workforce Intelligence to:
- Identify capability gaps and strengths.
- Understand workforce responsibilities across cybersecurity and IT functions.
- Reduce operational and execution risk.
- Align workforce investments with business strategy.
- Improve workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational maturity.
- Support governance, compliance, and resilience initiatives.
- Monitor workforce capabilities as organizations evolve.
Whether delivered as a one-time strategic assessment or an ongoing managed service, Workforce Intelligence gives leaders continuously current insights so they can make confident, informed decisions.
Build Your Workforce
Understanding capability gaps is only valuable if you can close them.
Our Talent Solutions help organizations acquire the cybersecurity and IT talent needed to execute their strategies.
Unlike traditional staffing firms, every engagement is informed by the same Cybersecurity and IT Job Taxonomies and Workforce Intelligence methodology used to understand the organization. Hiring decisions are based on capabilities, not assumptions, resulting in stronger alignment, faster hiring, and better long-term outcomes.
Technology does not execute strategy.
Your workforce does.
Every employee, contractor, consultant, managed service provider, intern, and AI-enabled capability contributes to your organization's ability to execute, innovate, manage risk, and achieve business objectives.
Leaders deserve clear visibility into the workforce responsible for delivering those outcomes, and a trusted partner that can help strengthen it. That is why CyberSN combines Workforce Intelligence, Talent Solutions, and the Cybersecurity and IT Job Taxonomies into a single approach.
As technology, business priorities, and workforce models continue to evolve, so will we, advancing Workforce Intelligence, expanding our taxonomies, and delivering the talent organizations need to execute with confidence.

Deidre Diamond
Founder & CEO, CyberSN
Founder, Secure Diversity
Deidre Diamond is a cybersecurity and IT workforce strategist and entrepreneur focused on helping organizations reduce risk by gaining clear, actionable visibility into how work gets done across their workforce ecosystems.
She is the Founder and CEO of CyberSN, a workforce intelligence company purpose-built for cybersecurity and IT. Under Deidre's leadership, CyberSN built the industry's first task-based cybersecurity taxonomy, changing how organizations define roles, assess capabilities, and align their workforce to business outcomes.
In 2025, CyberSN extended that work with an IT taxonomy, so enterprises can apply the same clarity and structure across their broader IT organizations and manage cybersecurity and IT workforce intelligence in a single shared language.
Deidre brings more than two decades of experience building and leading high-growth teams across technology, sales, and workforce organizations. Before founding CyberSN she held leadership roles at companies including Rapid7 and Motion Recruitment, where she saw firsthand the systemic challenges organizations face when they try to understand, retain, and manage technical talent at scale. She builds cultures grounded in emotional intelligence skills: self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, social skills, and empathy.
She is also the Founder of Secure Diversity, a non-profit dedicated to increasing representation and opportunity for women and historically underrepresented genders in cybersecurity. Through Secure Diversity, Deidre created the Day of Shecurity Conference, a free cybersecurity conference for professionals entering and advancing in the field.
A frequent keynote speaker and advisor, Deidre speaks on workforce risk management, leadership effectiveness, burnout and retention, workforce ecosystems (full-time employees, contractors, consultants, and MSPs), and the human factors shaping cybersecurity and IT performance. She has been recognized as a Top 25 Woman in Cybersecurity and has contributed to national conversations on workforce resilience, including engagements with government and industry leaders.
You cannot manage risk, performance, or people without clear and ongoing visibility into how work is actually being done.
