Roles and Responsibilities: 20% Leading product security risk assessments, hazard analysis, and providing vulnerability remediation guidance and mentoring to product development software engineers 20% Demonstrating proper secure coding practices driving standards within the software engineering organization 10% Implementing software security solutions and architect/design products in accordance with industry accepted standards for medical device security including: encryption, recovery, authentication, audit logging, hardening measures, patch management, vulnerability monitoring, and antivirus/antimalware 10% Developing and administering software engineering procedures and training for vulnerability scans and static code analysis 10% Assisting product development teams in creating Incident and Vulnerability Management Plans and Product Security White Papers 10% Participating on product security incident response teams 10% Interfacing with other technical departments such as the Penetration Testing Team and Systems and Hardware Engineering 10% Interfacing with Quality and Technical Service What you need to qualify: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, systems & architecture concepts and designs • Minimum of 5 years work experience with C#/.NET development • Minimum of 3 years work experience using secure coding practices • Experience in product development • BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related engineering field Pluses include: • An understanding of the software development lifecycle in product security or medical device products • c#.net development experience is preferred but our client will consider strong developers experienced with Java or C++
